At the Crossroads

The last few weeks have been one of the most intense and groundbreaking times in my photographic journey.

Finally, after years of deliberation and thought, my partner Spencer Wynn and I launched the Renatus Project – Remarkable Human Stories. Indeed, your response to our first story was phenomenal. I cannot thank you enough for all the comments, responses and support we have received from you. In a few days I will be covering the Canadian Transplant Games which this year are taking place here in Vancouver. You will find my imagery from the games on the Renatus Project website and on my social media accounts. There is no question that the Renatus Project is a highly personal endeavour which I am planning to pursue for many, many years to come.

Second, there has been a major development in my professional photographic life which put me on a new and very exciting path. I started working on the biggest commercial project which should have its debut in late July/early August. I am very excited about this new opportunity and I cannot wait to share more details with you.

In the meantime, let me show you some imagery taken in Toronto, where I led the Visual Poet Experience Workshop. My next Visual Poet Experience Workshop will be here in Vancouver, August 10-12, 2018. I believe there are two spots still available at this unique event. This year, I am doing something very special. Instead of the usual three days, I am making myself available to my students for an extra fourth day at no charge. You, my students, will be driving the agenda on that bonus day. We can shoot together, talk about the business of photography, have a coffee or just fool around. This special offer is only for my Vancouver Workshop!

Okay, time for some imagery. All taken with the GFX50s and the GF 45mm lens.

next time…
