The Canadian Rockies with the Fuji X-series

The three-week hiatus in our blog postings was not the result of World Cup fever or some R&R. Quite the opposite! We went away for a photo trip to the spectacular Canadian Rockies and we worked hard (waking up at 3:30 AM everyday!) to get you the best imagery possible. We have a lot of material to share with you – including our latest thoughts about gear and processing.

While we go through our work here are some teaser images shot with the Fuji X-T1 paired with the XF 14mm F2.8, XF 56mm F1.2 and Fuji X100S. Stay tuned.

… and two B&Ws

  1. Olaf the b/w shot of the shafts of sunlight on the wind turbines is amazing. I’m sure ENMAX (I think it is their windfarm) would love to buy the rights to use that photo

  2. Canadian Rockies docet!

yep, as someone else said a great fortune having your blog in the bookmarks ;). I’m an avid hiker and I really appreciate your awesome work & effort. Ciao

  3. Olaf you are one of the reasons I sold all the Canon gear and switched to Fuji I have been a pro photog since I was 19 and worked in many parts of the world, this kit is exciting and having shot with FUJI FILM I am back in that zone of loving what I am doing, in part thanks to you and your wife, it was the shot of the African lady in the classroom that blew me away. Again thanks
    Regards Richard Strong.

  4. Gorgeous photos as usual… I was actually trying to remember your names yesterday so that I could find your blog again, and today it has happily popped up on Thomas Menk’s! You are now bookmarked so that I won’t miss anything else!
