Hey there! Someone in my Facebook group shared this site
with us so I came to look it over. I’m definitely loving the information. I’m bookmarking
and will be tweeting this to my followers! Excellent
    blog and superb design.

  2. Very inspiring blog indeed, you should be proud of your work. I myself shoot with the “new” Fuji-system, and I was wondering at what aperture you usually shoot landscape? Thanks

  3. I read the comment/answer regarding what software you prefer, but I was wondering, if you had to choose one of the two to work solely on – which one would it be and why?

Great blog and beautiful work. Thank you.

    Regards, Jonas Jacobsson

    1. Jonas,

Thank you for your nice comments. I would pick Lightroom 4 – maybe because I am more familiar with it and there is a broader support for the program. The C1, however, offers more detailed files, which for the landscape photography is essential.

      All the best,

      Olaf

  5. Your shots are stunning!

I’ve recently bought a Fuji X-E1 (& 35mm lens), which I believe has the same chip as the X-Pro 1, so hopefully I’ll get similar IQ to your shots.

    Really nice work!

    1. Dan,

Thank you for your kind words. My wife uses the Fuji X-E1 and the quality is the same as the X-Pro1. I am sure you will enjoy this camera a lot. Great choice!

      All the best,

      Olaf

  6. moire effect on shot number 5, it is so in the original too?
but the pictures are beautiful and colors stunning. Thanks for posting

    1. Thank you for visiting. You are right – there is a bit of moire in the photo. In fact, this is the first time ever that I noticed moire when shooting with the Fuji X-Pro1. Other than that, the system is doing pretty good job avoiding the problem.
      Cheers,

      Olaf

  7. Hi
Thanks for posting the additional samples. Great colours and toning.

You say they are processed using LR and C1. Do you use each application for particular parts of the process, or are some processed in full within each application?

    1. Stephen,

Thank you for your kind words.

I use C1 for mostly basic adjustments (exposure, white balance, sharpening, levels). Then I transfer TIFFs to LR where I complete my work (mostly dodging and burning, contrast).

My workflow also depends on each individual image.

      Regards,

      Olaf
